No mention of the elevator situation at the time of booking either. It wasn't until we were headed to the 4th floor with our bags that we saw the signs at the elevator. With 4 of the 5 of our family with asthma, taking the stairs wasn't an option. Even tonight when waiting for the elevator, an employee came to the front of the line of a group waiting to go upstairs and repeatedly pushed the button because the elevator showed it was on the first floor to pick us up but didn't open.
We said the doors take a while to open when she said she didn't want to miss it because the light had gone off. She then incredulously muttered something about the doors taking two minutes to open.

Often people would get on the elevator when it was still going up just so they could get on it to eventually go back down to check out. I feel that some sort of accommodation should have been made for those of us staying at the hotel during this period or at the very least let customers know up front so alternative arrangements could have been made to find a different hotel.
First, the good: The rooms were very clean, nice 'n spacious, very quiet hardly a sound heardthe staff were very friendly and at a very convenient location.
The lesser of good: The beds were hard, the pillows lumpy, the free, continental breakfast was just ok and the bathroom, within the room itself, was pretty small. Overall though, the Hyatt Place Denver-South was an excellent choice for us and if we're in the area again, it will be our hotel of choice!

Everyone was compassionate and sweet and got my room together quickly. One of the GMs, John, was especially attentive and proactive when realizing my room key would expire due to me extending my stay and wanting to keep the same room.
He was acomadating down to the last minute of my stay. It's people like him who keep businesses running and help them become successful. Thx John for making this a great stay!
